Here's the good and the not-so-good

The location was convenient for my needs, giving me easy access to local attractions. I appreciated the basic breakfast options available each morning!

The front desk staff were particularly rude , and the overall cleanliness of my room left a lot to be desired.

Our room was comfortable and neat, available with the fridge as well as an ashtray. Having a shower and a hairdryer was a bonus. Our location was particularly good to the train depot. Also, it was 2 miles from a movie theater.

Room condition needs attention. Common areas are clean and location is convenient for dining options.

Clean room, convenient breakfast, friendly staff, and free parking made my stay enjoyable as I had everything I needed to relax after exploring without stress.

I had two nights here and found the daily breakfast with fresh fruit and cereal a perfect way to start my day. It provided a good amount of fuel for the road trips I enjoy. Even with some access challenges, the location worked for my agenda.

The furnishings in the room could use an update. The chairs were not clean, and the bathroom sink had a slow drain.

We enjoyed nice, clean rooms and our pet dog was welcomed, great for family bonding. In the evenings, we took quick jaunts to the Eagle Lake Golf Center, which turned out to be a fun activity for everyone involved.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities on-site.

Staff at the front desk were friendly upon check-in, and the easy check-in process made things smooth. I faced issues with room cleanliness. The bathroom was not adequately cleaned, with remnants from previous guests still visible. The room had a lingering unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore throughout my stay. The bed was uncomfortable, with loud springs that disrupted my rest. The noise from adjacent rooms was bothersome. While I appreciated the working air conditioning, I had expected more from my stay.

Basic Accommodation with Some Drawbacks

I stayed in a Queen Room Non-Smoking for two nights. The location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room and the overall condition of the furnishings. While the price was fair for what we received, better attention to maintenance and cleaning would greatly enhance the experience.

Staying here was a delight as I appreciated the quick access to Doris A. Kemp Park and the scenic walks along the Anoka-Champlin Mississippi River Bridge, both just a few kilometers away for a lovely weekend stroll after breakfast that was well stocked and always fresh. It reminded me of the perfect home base to explore the local area, although the hotel could use a bit of polish in its furnishings overall.
